A favourite vehicle-type for showmans’ transport is the rigid eight-wheeler lorry, and one of the very best examples, is this 1995 Foden 4000-Series 4325 S108R4, 4000-Series Hi Line sleeper-cabbed, Boxvan-bodied, 8X4 double-drive Lorry. Its Cummins LTAA10-325 engine also powers this lorry’s winch, which is used for dragging the lorry or other lorries or trailers our of swampy fairground.
It entered the glitzy world of fun fairs and carnivals in 2005 it carries slot machines for the Hollywood Arcade, pulls living trailers and is painted in a metallic gold with black and silver relief. Gold is a traditional colour of the Tuby family along with maroon, blue and red.
